Speech Pathologist

Inner West, Ryde and Lower North Shore

We are a growing mobile practice servicing a generalist paediatric caseload with a strong focus on autism. You will be joining a successful and growing team with other highly skills therapists who love what they do! Not only will you be able to do rewarding work you will also have a high level of flexibility.

You will enjoy being out and about visiting clients at schools, day care centres and homes as our model focuses on working in the familiar environment. We service areas surrounding Gladesville; Inner West, Ryde and Lower North Shore.

Essential Criteria

  • An outgoing personality

  • A passion for supporting communication development

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and seek support as required

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent

  • Driver’s Licence valid in Australia & use of own vehicle for business purposes

  • Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia and eligible for Medicare Provider number

  • Working with Children Check and Rights to Work in Australia

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience and/or strong interest in working with children with Autism and Early Intervention

  • Experience applying family-centred practice

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team

  • Further training in specific clinical areas of interest

  • Experience running and/or developing group programs
